There are several streets in Santa Fe under consideration for active redevelopment and/or improvement or at least ready for continuing community input on how to best make changes to serve the needs of all the stakeholders.

Airport Road is in the midst of an active City Planning process. St. Michael’s Drive went through a visioning plan and a competitive design process. The Cerrillos Corridor (roughly between the Railyard and the intersection with St. Michael’s Drive) has been targeted by MIX for previous crowd-sourced input and ideas.

All of these potential projects or aspects of them may soon become independent projects, but for the time being Real Streets is a place to exchange ideas, share information, plan meetings and events, and work together to make sure that people, neighbors, residents, businesses–the essential components of life in a vibrant streetscape–have an opportunity for input and a place to visualize and implement the future.
