Mobile Apps Challenge
Made By MIX
Public Project active 7 months ago agoWelcome to the Mobile Apps Challenge, this project is for entrants.
As part of the Mobile Apps Challenge, you have been invited as a beta tester for the new MIX website and all competition submissions will require creating a project on the website.
In the column to the left you will find navigation to project discussions and documents that relate to the competition.
Please review all discussions and documents, create a profile, then create your own Project!
There is a special discussion thread for comments and feedback about the website… we would appreciate your help to make it work smarter, faster, better.
*App Challenge Creators/Collaborators will not be able to support individual App Projects

Of course it wouldn’t have happened without The City of Santa Fe, MIX Santa Fe, the New Mexico Tech Council and the Santa Fe Complex ,,,, thanks all!

Mobile Apps Challenge: 10 months, 2 weeks agoHi MIXers. I am writing to try to find an Android developer to join the re-mindful app project. At this point, the android version is about 60% complete. And the apple version is complete and can be used as a spec for the android version. Currently the project is on kickstarter …. you can see [...]

Mobile Apps Challenge: 10 months, 3 weeks agoHaj, this would take you a bit afield from the core app, but you could offer folks a button when they get a reminder that allows them to do a little diary entry about where they are, what they’re doing, and how they’re feeling, etc. This would compile a more robust, and probably more useful, [...]

Haj Khalsa started the discussion topic could re-mindful data used to learn more about us? in the project
Mobile Apps Challenge: 10 months, 3 weeks agoI am starting to think about the possibility of a visual representation of the data that could be gathered from the re-mindful app. The central question for me behind the data and the app user’s experience that it would represent is: “does a random reminder to smile improve your life or not”? There is the [...]

It would also be interesting, on the home page graphic if my “dot” also linked to everything else I link to, Ignite Santa Fe, other projects, but I imagine that might get overwhelming. Do we need to have our app in the app store by June 16th? If not, how do we get the app to you?
-
Brit- all the competition info can be found under the discussions tab for the Mobile Apps Challenge Project. It is located in the left hand navigation bar when you are on the Apps Challenge project page.
-
That doesn’t say what form the submission needs to be in. Are you going to personally test each app on an ipad or iphone? How are you going to do that if they aren’t in the App Store?
-
We will not be requiring the apps to be on the apple or android store, App challenge is still working on how submissions will work and will update all praticipants as soon as we have concert details.
-
We will provide iPhone Device ID’s (and further instructions) to iPhone developers so they can deploy their apps to one or more devices for the judges.
